I'm sure you are all getting tired of reading about what we have been doing so this time I am going to show you. I thought it might be fun to post pictures of what our daily walk to and from work is like... Some of the pictures are a bit hazy because I took them in a rush as we walked... so bare with me!

I think Nick wanted to sleep a bit longer... :o)

Exiting our ally... right next to the huge ruins

The little village of Hauz Khas

An old Jeep that we see every day when exiting our village

The sign that tells about our village, Hauz Khas.

The boys... Manu, Nick and Mukesh

Two women with baskets of veggies on their heads

The Hindu Temple

Some one lives there

This one is for you Mariah!

A few of the random ruins along the way

Some cool looking pots.

Another home

Street vendors

If you look closely you will see that it says J.H. Caleb... Nick was excited about that...
he wants to go meet the reverend!

Traffic, traffic, traffic!

The "Believers" Church

A New Delhi Ambulance

The gate to a rich persons home

A used car shop

Public drinking water

Where we get our mango's from... YUMM!!

We finally made it! Navdanya is right upstairs!

Nice pics, almost as good as being there... not quite. Looks like you guys are having a great time and taking all the sites. Kris, it is just like you to not let even one potential picture slip by. Looks like the new camera is doing a fine job.
Love you, keep those cards and letters coming.
Mom and Dad
Oh and did I mention BE CAREFUL :>)
Pictures are a nice touch and any daily activities about work would be good too. Kelly and I miss you guys, can't wait to see you again in August!
Hi, Sorry I haven't written to you. I have been reading your blogs to Grandma and Uncle Gary and we have really enjoyed everyone and Nick you look so great in your suit! I think I would be so upset if I saw the kids begging and starving. I know it happens but it's not in your face everyday. I have worked with the foodbank and other non-profits and have seen hungry people, sad people and crippled ones but it's not the same as over in other countries. I also think that it's not all the U.S. causing the problems. Most of those countries have been around alot longer than us and are still letting their people live in these situations. The main reason I think is that there is no middle class, your either rich or dirt poor. We have a system that works better than anyone's and people want to change it. I know it is heart wrenching to see such unfairness in our world and I hope that people like you and Kris will make a difference. Love You,Aunt Cheryl

I love it that you are as tickled with "Bollywood" as I am. I look forward to viewing with you and laughing our asses off. The 4th of July MSNBC commentary was hysterical!!! Thanks for turning us on to it... Lots to discuss politically when you get home. I have been noticing subtle changes in advertising leaning to the "green" message. I hate to see a good message get contorted by Madison Avenue. This administration is slowly being outed and maybe America can get it's collective head our of it's rear-end and rebuild a better tomorrow...hmmm...I still remain the optimist. And I'm well aware that the illusion is alive and well always. I love you both and yes you have many readers. You are keeping us thoroughly entertained and informed with your exploits. Take good care of each other and please be careful. Sending good energy to you always....Peace and Love MOM
Hey guys, great blog and always great chatting with you'll on Skpe. The poverty issue is always hard on westerners the first time around but you do get used to it. Hence why we use our privelage to do good instead of getting depressed about things.
Will get your Coleen's contact in Rome and my family's contact in Spain. Have fun in Derra Dunn.
Oh, I love Bollywood films and we will have to do Indian dinner and a Bollywood film night with the boys when you get back. Have three copies of Lagan so dont buy any.
